The C3 Centre for International Development is a place of research,
discourse and education in the field of international development.
Six development organisations provide space here for dialogue,
discussion and reflection. These are: ÖFSE, the Austrian International
Development Research Foundation (Österreichische Forschungsstiftung
für Internationale Entwicklung); BAOBAB, a developmental education
and training resource; Women's Solidarity, a development initiative for
women; the Paulo Freire Centre for Transdisciplinary Development Research
and Dialogical Education; the Mattersburg Circle for Development Politics at
Austrian Universities.

The C3 Library of International Development is the largest education and research library in Austria dedicated to international development, global learning, and women and gender issues.
It is open to the public, and regards itself as a place of learning, training, meeting and informing. The library is supported by ÖFSE, BAOBAB and Women's Solidarity.
