ÖFSE operates the most comprehensive specialist academic library and information exchange facility for its subject area in Austria. Issues covered include international development, development politics and development cooperation, current developments in the countries of the South and,
in particular, Austrian development cooperation. Alongside academic literature and international publications, the library's stock includes fiction from the South and the Missio Special Collection, which contains 7,000 books on theology and development. |

The BAOBAB specialist educational library provides
a central location for global learning and communication
in Austria. In partnership
with regional organisations,
it offers a wide range of predominantly educational materials (books, films, games, CD-ROMs, CDs,
and topic-based learning kits).
Documentaries and films
from around the world are
a particular feature of the library. BAOBAB also provides advice on selecting materials and implementing projects. |

Women's Solidarity runs the only library and document archive devoted to women and developing nations in the German-speaking world.
It provides an information interface between the realms of feminism and development politics, and offers comprehensive support and advice on research and topic selection. As well as academic literature, grey literature and fiction, the library collection also includes numerous international women's journals and feminist information sheets, which can also be accessed online. |
